Smash Bros Spain

Hey guys, I'm studying here in Bilbao until May and was wondering if anyone from here or around here wants to play some smash?

I'm afraid there's no smash scene in Euskal Herria. I remember one guy who registered here a couple of weeks ago, but there's no one else i'd say. Sry.

Hi, as Picafort says: Bilbao's scene doesn't have partners. The nearest places where you can find some people to play with are on Zaragoza, LaRioja and Asturias (not sure about this last one).

Anyway if you have some freetime and freetasks on the next week, from friday 6th to sunday 8th march, you can come to Barcelona (I guess you can found cheap prices for a fly or train ticket) and play with the spain community in our first national tournament since smash 4 was released, done by Ossom Fights (thanks to David aka Surrealista). Join us there, you will be welcome

the next big tournament is Mr. C Fest 3, it's a national tournament featuring Smash 4 and melee. It's in Alicante tho, that's pretty far from Bilbao tbh.

We're a small smash community here in Bilbao and we don't get to play much as we don't have anywhere to gather. I'd really like to organize a tourney here, and I'm looking for somewhere to host it.

Anyways I'll be sure to contact you (through the forum or any way you want me to) if we the smashers of Bilbao meet so you can play with us.


The nearest tournaments you can go are on Alicante as joseluis said (12 hours) and Barcelona (5-7), if you're interested.

You should check gaming or manga bar, thats usually where we gather in Paris, they usually accept a Sm4sh event.

It's been 2 days since I'm here, and I walked a lot through the city, it's not really big, but I enjoy it so far. Too bad my spanish isn't that great, it's difficult for me talk with people. So I do the discovery on my own at the moment.

Alicante seems difficult, except if there some cheap way to go there, but Barcelona is definitely doable especially if we can share a ride or something.

I asked the organization some weeks ago, but sadly there won't be any kind of tournament. I also asked them to let us organize one, but the timetable was already closed so we weren't able to.

About this, there's no gaming or manga bar here (as far as I know, I'm not totally sure, tho). We're 6 around here (but I know there's more people that play smash here) and I live in Santutxu, but we usually go to Ever's house, who lives in Barakaldo (not really far).

And about going to Barcelona, if you plan it on advance you can go kinda cheap.

This evening we went to a shop to ask if we could organize a little tournament some weekend and they agreed. We still have to choose an exact date, so I'll keep you informed as soon as we organize everything.
