Smash Bros Spain

Hi, I'm a smasher from USA and will be visiting Spain in early July. Are there any melee tournaments/smashfests happening around during that time? I'll (most likely) be in Lleida, Catalonia, but I'm willing to travel anywhere if it's not too far or expensive. Thanks! (I studied Spanish in school many years ago so I can speak a little, but it is not very good)

There may be a tournament this summer because we use to have one per summer, but I don't know if it's already confirmed.
You will can go to a few meetings and smashfests around there, Barcelona is a moderate healthy region for Melee.
Finally if one of us can give you housing I highly recomend you to come to Madrid and spend some time playing our tops! (Overtriforce, Strawhat, Trif, k12)

Too bad there's no scene in Lleida. If you want to play you'll have to travel to Barcelona, which is probably the closest scene you'll find.

Thanks for your reply. I am nowhere near the level of those top players (my skill level is about "average"), but I would love to travel there to play with them!
