Bienvenidos a Smash Bros. Spain

Apex 2015 está a la vuelta de la esquina este fin de semana y será el primer gran torneo internacional de Smash contando con más de 800 participantes en Smash4, mas de 1000 en melee y sobre los 200 en 64 y Brawl, siendo esencialmente el torneo más grande hasta la fecha.
La acción empieza el viernes a las 15:00 PM hora peninsular y el stream terminará cada día sobre las 3:00 AM aproximadamente. Este enlace contiene el horario exacto de todos los streams disponibles: Horarios stream
Entre los jugadores en asistencia encontramos profesionales de todas las zonas de Estados Unidos, Canadá, Sudamérica y hasta Japón y varios países Europeos. Greward será el único representante español en el evento (Smash4).
En Smash4 no sabemos con exactitud que jugadores dominarán al resto par alcanzar el top 8 al ser la primera vez que muchos se cruzan pero aquí os dejamos con algunos de los nombres más conocidos que lucharán por la victoria este fin de semana en el artículo de la portada: artículo

Mientras tanto en melee, tenemos a muchos juadores consagrados, "the 5+1 gods" mew2king, Mang0, Doctor PeePee, HungrBox y Armada, y el nuevo, Leffen, además de ellos, pueden darnos la sorpresa muchos otros como, Fly Amanita, Axe, Westballz, Javi, SFAT, shroomed, Plup, etc

Por si no lo sabíais ayer fue un largo día para todos los organizadores del Apex, alguien abrió una puerta de salida de emergencia que saltó la alarma, (puede que esto los haya salvado a todos, nunca lo sabremos) por consiguiente los bomberos fueron alertados. Hace unos días se derrumbó el aparcamiento del hotel debido a las grandes nevadas https://twitter.com/DaveCarlinTV/status ... 3603091457 , pero no se creía que ello pudiera afectar al hotel donde el torneo era acogido.

Al llegar los bomberos y ver toda aquella cantidad de gente en las salas empezaron a preocuparse y ver si podría haber peligro, tras ver la estructura se dieron cuenta que el techo de una de las habitaciones estaba criticamente agrietado https://twitter.com/thekylemcclusky/sta ... 3664522240 y que no era seguro estar allí, tras ello, todas las salas fueron cerradas.

Venue will be moved to the Garden State Convention located at 50 Atrium Dr, Somerset New Jersey
No tournament matches will be played on Friday
Staff will be working overtime to get everything to new venue and set by Saturday morning
Staff is reworking schedule to complete tournaments on a 2-day timeline
Additional updates will be posted as they come in officially from Apex staff
Twitch buses will be setup on a schedule between the Clarion Hotel and Garden State Convention
Schedule will be released by midnight ET

Update 2 (Jan 30 @ 3:03PM)

Doubletree hotel near Garden State Convention Center is sold out of rooms
Pokemon will occur on Saturday (at new venue)
New schedule is still not set
CRTs are still in old venue
Busing is still being worked on

Update 3 (Jan 30 @ 6:00PM)

Last of equipment loaded for transport to new venue, including all CRTs.
No schedules yet.

Update 4 (Jan 30 @ 8:00PM)

Almost entire tournament staff is at the new venue
Nearly all (85%) of the CRTs are setup and Wii's are setup at the new venue
Similar situation for Wii U and LCD monitors provided by Gaming Generations
Sound system and projector system is setup, pipe and drape is being placed
Nintendude is very close to finalizing the schedule - we'll have it up as soon as it is finished
Twitch saved the day contracting the new venue (Bifuteki found the venue)
Redbull eSports pitched in with trucks
Still no word on shuttle schedules from previous venue to the Garden
Things are far more positive that they looked 10 hours ago

No events are cancelled.
There are some changes to structure, view the link.
First pools start at 9AM, Venue opens at 8AM. Plan accordingly.
Wave and pools assignments are unchanged (e.g. you are still in the same "Wave" and Pool with the same players)
Venue is near 100% setup as of this time. ~12 hours ago this event was nearly canceled.
Shuttles are NOT 100% confirmed at this time. It is being worked on but confirmation may not come until early on Saturday.

Update 6 (Jan 31 @ 2:00AM)

One shuttle is confirmed to start at 7:45AM - a bus with 50 seating - please only use if no other options present and you are in an early pool. Bus takes 40 minutes to get to venue so assume 1 hour and 30 minute loops.
More will try to be sourced in the morning - most services have shut for the night.
Bus is being financed by Apex, not Twitch as some have reported.

If you tune into Team Spooky’s stream expecting some early Apex 2015 action, you’ll be greeted with a rather odd sight: a ballroom filled with setups but devoid of competitors, the normally triumphant Smash theme now playing to a lonely, empty tournament floor.

According to SmashBoards, the Apex 2015 ballrooms were deemed unfit for occupancy after inspections by fire marshals, who originally arrived on the scene due to a pulled fire alarm. Community Effort Orlando organizer Alex Jebailey, updating from the event itself, said that one of the halls partially collapsed during the recent flurry of storms that hit the northeastern regions.

While at first it appeared as if only the room housing Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, along with more traditional fighting game titles, would be closed, the Apex organizers have announced that authorities have placed the entire event on hold due to worries about the structural integrity of the tournament’s entire venue.

At this point in time, Apex staff is working out plans for moving forward, hoping to gain access to the main ballroom tomorrow after further inspections have been carried out. We’ll keep you updated as more details become available.
